About The Mural
On the north wall of the Hillsburgh Community Centre, a collection of interlocking gears tells the story of how a town moves forward — together. Geared Up was designed by Jennifer McKinnon of Turn of Fate Studio and brought to life over eleven months of community collaboration.
Each gear represents a different part of our community: neighbours, service groups, volunteers, and committees of council. On their own, they're simply shapes. Connected, they keep everything in motion — a fitting tribute to the people who make Hillsburgh hum.
