Discover the Bounty of the Wild Continue your foraging journey with seasoned guide Jordan Madley in this immersive three-hour fall workshop. This hands-on experience will deepen your connection to the local environment and empower you to identify and gather nature’s edible autumn treasures. Your adventure begins with a guided walk where you will learn Jordan's philosophy on discovering the what, how, and why of fall’s most interesting and available wild foods. Afterward, we will come together to transform your freshly foraged bounty into a delicious, comforting dish, like a hearty wild mushroom and herb crostini, paired with a warming wild-foraged spiced cider. What You Will Experience & Create: A guided foraging walk to identify and harvest edible autumn species. A hands-on tutorial to craft a seasonal dish and warm beverage from your findings. Engaging conversation about the impressive edible plants and fungi available across Ontario. A chance to create your own wild-foraged compound butter. This workshop is more than just a walk. It is an opportunity to forge a deeper connection with nature, your community, and the food on your plate. Please Note: An additional $6 material fee is due the day of the course. Participants should bring: 2 mason jars (1 for your compound butter, 1 for your warm cider infusion) A foraging basket, cloth bag, or paper bags A foraging knife This workshop will incorporate nuts. General Registration Policies First-Come, First-Served: Workshop spaces are limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot. Safety First: The safety and well-being of our participants are our top priorities. We reserve the right to make adjustments as needed to ensure a safe environment. Cancellation and Refund Policy Non-Refundable Payments: Payments are non-refundable except under the conditions outlined below. Withdrawals Over 10 Days Before Start Date: Withdrawals made more than 10 days before the course start date will incur a $10 cancellation fee. Refunds processed via credit card or our online store will also include a 4% payment processing fee. Missed or Unattended Classes: Refunds, credits, or transfers cannot be provided for missed or unattended classes. Class Cancellations by Over Here: If we cancel a class, we’ll notify you at least 4 days in advance and provide a full refund.
