Service Description

Step into the studio and discover how color can come straight from the earth. Painting with Nature is a five-part, hands-on workshop where we explore the magic of natural inks—crafted from plants, nuts, and berries sourced from our local environment. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned painter, this workshop invites you to slow down, experiment, and reconnect with the creative potential of the natural world. What to Expect: Our Journey: We’ll begin by sharing the story of how we started working with natural inks and what inspired us to explore this unique medium. Color Swatches: Get comfortable with the inks by creating swatches, experimenting with mixing colors, and observing how they transform and interact. Mark Making Tools: Explore a variety of tools—from feather quills and sticks to fountain pens and glass dip pens—to see how natural inks flow, bloom, and surprise. Patterns & Textures: Learn to create captivating patterns and textures while incorporating principles of art, design, and basic color theory. Final Product: Bring everything together to create your very own “frame-ready” paper-quilt—a modern take on traditional quilting, but with paper and natural inks. This workshop is more than just a creative experience—it’s an opportunity to reconnect with nature, embrace the unexpected, and create something truly unique. Please review refund policy
